7-Eleven Philippines eyes 5,000 stores nationwide by 2026
PSC ramps up expansion with over 450 new stores planned and nearly $97M in investment.
Philippine Seven Corp, operator of 7-Eleven convenience store chain in the Philippines, has set its sights on reaching 5,000 outlets nationwide by 2026. The move is part of a strategic push to expand its footprint across the archipelago.
PSC Chairman Jose Victor P. Paterno announced the target during a recent media briefing, according to Inside Retail. Paterno stated that the company is confident it will hit the milestone “sometime next year.” As of the end of 2024, PSC operated 4,130 7-Eleven locations across the country, highlighting the rapid growth of the convenience store network in recent years.
To meet its target, the company plans to open between 450 and 500 new stores in 2025. The expansion will be backed by a PHP5.5 billion (around $97 million) capital expenditure program, slightly down from the previous PHP6 billion allocation.
The planned rollout forms part of PSC’s broader growth strategy, which focuses on tapping into underserved and high-potential markets and responding to rising consumer demand for accessible, round-the-clock retail options.
