7‑Eleven has released a new line of apparel and accessories inspired by its branded snacks and beverages. The retailer has collaborated with different artists and agencies to come up with designs based on typical products offered at the convenience store chain. Customers will have a chance to win a piece of clothing by purchasing a participating product at one of its sites or locations of the Speedway and Stripes brands.
“Brainfreeze Season is a time for us to help our customers quench their thirst for Slurpee drinks…music…and, of course, fashion. We know our customers are always on the cutting edge of culture and style, and are looking for ways to get even closer to the brands they love – so what better way to reward our loyal fans than with these one-of-a-kind designs?,” said Marissa Jarratt, 7‑Eleven Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
The company unveiled three different designs for footwear inspired by its offer alongside other fashion items such as hats, sweatshirts and crewnecks, just to name a few. The designs include:
- Slurpee x What the Fanta: Designed by Jake Danklefs of Dank & Co., adorned with Slurpee drink branding and shapes that mimic splashes of water.
- 7‑Eleven x Dunkaroos: The Select creative agency designed these hand-painted shoes by Tyler Wallach that feature Fred, the mascot for the brand’s frozen beverage.
- Shoe Surgeon x Reese’s: A pair of shoes that feature orange-colored mesh panels, chocolate-hued sides, and a peanut butter-toned ankle panel with a buttoned pocket.
Customers also have the chance to win a break dancing-inspired Red Bull BC One capsule featuring Fred, complete with a hoodie, drawstring backpack, and hat. The last prize available is the Flamin’ Hot x Braille collection, which includes a crewneck sweatshirt, hat, skateboard and shoes with flame-printed shoelaces.
