Żabka opens 12,000th store in Poland
The convenience chain continues rapid expansion, targeting 1,300 new stores annually by 2028.
Żabka has reached a new milestone with the opening of its 12,000th store in Poland. Located in Kraków, this achievement underscores the company’s position as the country’s largest and fastest-growing convenience chain and marks another step in its ambition to open 1,300 new stores per year by 2028.
The new location embodies Żabka’s values of proximity, efficiency, and innovation, integrating both gastronomic and technological upgrades. The store features a professional pizza oven with chamotte stone surfaces, capable of preparing up to four portions simultaneously, ensuring crisp texture and minimal waiting times.
In addition, customers can access everyday essentials, fresh snacks, parcel services, bill payments, and public transport ticket purchases.
“The opening of our 12,000th store carries great symbolic value for us,” said Adam Manikowski, CEO of the Żabka Polska business unit. “It’s a testament to the consistent execution of our strategy, which positions us at the threshold of even faster growth. Earlier this month, we announced our plan to open 1,300 new stores annually by 2028.”
Żabka continues to expand its footprint across both large cities and smaller communities, supporting local entrepreneurs through its comprehensive franchise model. Partners receive a fully equipped store, modern digital tools, and ongoing business support, enabling quick and efficient market entry.
