The Żabka convenience store chain is expanding its offer to offer shipping services across its network. The retailer has partnered with DPD Polska so that its 9,100 stores are able to send, receive and return shipments sent via its partner.

The firm's analysis shows that more than 5 million Poles are interested in picking up or sending parcels in the chain's stores. By expanding the existing group of courier companies cooperating with Żabka, the availability and reach of the service is increased alongside the number of parcels handled in the future. The launch and implementation of the service is provided by the company’s technology and operations partner, Pointpack S.A.

Customers can pick up or send parcels during their daily shopping at convenient hours across all Żabka outlets using DPD's domestic and international services.

“Year after year, we record a several dozen percent increase in the number of parcels handled. We believe that thanks to our cooperation with DPD Polska, one of the country's largest courier networks, these results will be even better," said Przemyslaw Tomaszewski, Director of Sales and Service Development at Żabka Polska.

At the same time, Żabka is working on developing this service to make it even faster and more convenient for customers. Users of the brand’s app are also able to track ordered shipments and safely pick them up at the nearest Żabka near their home or work.
