Unimot Group, the owner of AVIA fuel stations in Poland, has partnered with Żabka Polska to open four Żabka stores at AVIA stations. The initiative aims to offer drivers greater convenience by combining fuel services with a broad selection of everyday groceries and quick meals in one location.

The rollout will begin this summer, with the first two stores opening in Poznań at Grunwaldzka Street and Mieszka I Street by the end of August. Additional stores in Bełchatów and Zakopane will follow in September, all located at Unimot-operated stations.

Robert Brzozowski, Vice President of the Management Board at Unimot, said: “This is an opportunity to combine AVIA’s strengths—high-quality fuels and strong understanding of drivers’ needs—with the recognition and reach of Poland’s largest retail chain. We gain a stable, experienced partner that has won the hearts of Polish consumers.”

As part of the partnership, Żabka will manage retail sales and customer service, while AVIA will continue to focus on fuel distribution. This model allows customers to pay for fuel directly at store checkouts, streamlining the process for drivers.

“At Żabka, we constantly seek new locations and formats that fit our strategy of delivering convenient solutions. Partnering with AVIA reflects a flexible, effective cooperation model,” added Piotr Kaczmarek, Expansion Director at Żabka Polska. “Both sides have shown readiness to adapt to the dynamic needs of the market, enabling us to explore the potential of modern convenience points together.”

The cooperation leverages AVIA’s fuel and private-label products, fleet card program, and loyalty app AVIA GO, alongside Żabka’s network of over 11,700 convenience stores across Poland. For customers, the partnership promises quick shopping, quality coffee, fresh snacks, and essential groceries directly at the fuel station.
