Aral pulse continues ultra-fast charging rollout in Germany
New charging stations in Oberursel and Würzburg offer up to 300 kW charging power, adding to one of the largest fast-charging networks in the country.
Aral pulse has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging network with new high-performance charging stations in Oberursel and Würzburg.
Three ultra-fast charging columns with two charging points each have been installed at an Aral service station in Oberursel, near the A661/A5 motorways. In Würzburg, four new columns have been added at the station along the B27.
The chargers offer a capacity of up to 300 kW, allowing EVs to add up to 300 kilometers of range in around 10 minutes, depending on vehicle technology, battery age and condition.
“We now operate more than 3,700 charging points at over 500 locations, making us one of Germany’s largest fast-charging providers. Further expansion is planned,” said Alexander Junge, Aral Board Member for E-Mobility. “Our ultra-fast charging offer is very well received, and since August last year, we’ve been the official e-charge partner of ADAC.”
Since 2021, Aral has been expanding its ultra-fast charging network through Aral pulse. With around 2,400 gas stations, the company is the largest fuel retailer in Germany and offer additional amenities such as REWE To Go stores and car wash service.
