Argentina: AXION opens new sustainable service station
The new site is equipped with a water recycling system as well as a solar water heater, water and effluent treatment plant to promote electric power consumption savings.
AXION Energy has expanded its footprint across Argentina by opening a new service station in Buenos Aires province. The site has been built with a sustainable mindset and is equipped with several features that will help it reduce energy consumption.
Located in Ituzaingo, the company expects that the new location will help in connecting its more than two million drivers that travel across the region monthly. The opening is part of the company’s investment to further expand its presence across the whole country, opening new job positions and offering new services for its communities.
Conscious of the necessity to collaborate with environmental care, the new forecourt can recover 100% of rainwater that falls in its ceiling and use it for cleaning and irrigation. It’s also equipped with a solar water heater and a water and effluent treatment plant.
To contribute to its savings in energy consumption, AXION also deployed full LED lighting for its station. In addition, the company has incorporated new vegetarian and vegan offerings at its Spot! convenience store. The new menu will help to satisfy every palate through the offer of the firm’s sites.
