AXION energy opens first standalone Spot! store in Argentina
The retailer unveiled its new ‘Spot to go’ concept offering take-away services for customers with little time to grab a coffee on the go.
AXION energy has opened its first Spot! convenience store outside of a service station in Argentina. The fuel retail brand has expanded its services beyond the forecourt to evolve the Spot! concept adapting it to current customer needs.
The new ‘Spot to go’ site has been opened in the city of Buenos Aires, focusing exclusively on take-away service for coffee and gourmet sandwiches. Established at one of the city’s busiest locations, the new outlet aims to cater the needs of consumers who have little time to grab a coffee and continue with their routine.
"In the future we expect to continue growing and installing more Spot! to go stores in different parts of Buenos Aires and we hope to expand throughout Argentina. This will allow us to build brand loyalty with those who know us from refueling at our stations and also to attract new users who will get to know us through this innovative challenge," said Mauro Gil, General Manager of Retail at Axion energy.
In addition to specialty coffee, Axion energy has integrated its special sandwich offers into the new store. These are derived from another new concept known as ‘Parada Sanguchera’ spread throughout service stations across the country which features a menu created by famous local chef Lelé Cristóbal.
