Back Nine Equity to acquire Woodie's Wash Shack

The combined company will operate 50 car wash locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Texas.

Back Nine Equity, parent company of Links Car Wash, has agreed to acquire the Woodie's Wash Shack brand, a fast-growing express car wash operator affiliated with WWS Enterprises. The combined company will operate 50 locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Texas under the Woodie's name, forming one of the region's largest express car wash platforms.

"Woodie's has built an exceptional reputation through their outstanding operating platform, loyal customer base and one of the strongest consumer brands in the industry," said Ryan Hanks, founder of Back Nine Equity and Links Car Wash, who will lead the combined operating company.

Donald E. Phillips, founder of WWS Enterprises, will take a strategic role through a newly formed brand management company retaining ownership of the Woodie's trademarks and creative identity.

"Our vision was never simply to build car washes; it was to build a brand that customers genuinely loved," said Phillips.

The deal supports expansion plans across Tampa Bay and adjacent markets, and is expected to close in the coming months.
