bp pulse has announced a new wave of ultrafast electric‑vehicle charging sites across seven locations in California, Georgia, Illinois and Florida, in its latest move to scale public charging infrastructure across the US.
The additions, published in the company’s January network update, include multiple sites equipped with 400kW chargers, among the fastest currently available, as well as amenities catering to long‑distance drivers.
In California, new chargers have been installed at an ARCO/ampm station in West Sacramento and at a TA location in West Livingston. Georgia sees two new 12‑bay hubs at Petro and TA travel centres in Kingsland and Madison, both located directly off Interstate 95 and Interstate 20. In Illinois, a Thorntons station in Bolingbrook adds six 150kW chargers, the only site in this month’s update not featuring 400kW hardware. Two further Florida TA sites, in Vero Beach and Baldwin, bring another 24 high‑speed bays to the state’s highway network.
bp pulse says it plans continued monthly rollouts, advising drivers to check its app or online map for real‑time charger availability.
