bp pulse grows ultrafast EV charging across three U.S. states

New sites in Louisiana, Texas and Virginia add 400kW chargers at highway travel centers.

bp pulse has expanded its ultrafast electric vehicle (EV) charging network in the United States, with new installations in Louisiana, Texas and Virginia. The rollout includes the company’s first charging site in Louisiana, located in Slidell, alongside additional locations in San Antonio and Ashland. 

These new sites are positioned at Travel Centers of America (TA) along major interstate corridors to serve long-distance EV drivers with high-speed charging and on-site amenities. Each new location features 12 charging bays equipped with chargers capable of delivering up to 400kW, supporting both CCS and NACS connectors. 

The Louisiana site marks bp pulse’s entry into the state and targets highway traffic between regional urban centers. In addition, the Texas station in San Antonio and the Virginia site near Richmond are similarly located on key routes, including I-10 and I-95, respectively.

All three locations offer services typical of travel centers, including restrooms, food options, retail stores and parking areas, supporting convenience during charging sessions.
