Buc-ee’s c-store to open in Texas
The business will offer customers nearly 100 gas pumps and a 50,000-square-foot store.
Buc-ee’s, the Texas-based chain of convenience stores and gas stations , announced its new Melissa location will officially open to customers next Monday.
Construction on the site began in early 2018. Melissa city staff foresees the store will attract 14,000 to 16,000 patrons each day. The store will employ around 200 workers.
Melissa location will offer “Buc-ee’s famous Texas Round Up barbeque, a vast selection of beef jerky, numerous flavors of homemade fudge and, of course, Beaver Nuggets”, the company announced in a press release.
“With over 50,000 square feet of space, many fueling positions and plenty of restrooms, the destination pit stop has plenty of room for both new and old Beaver fans,” the press release states.
The business will offer the standard array of graded gasolines and harder-to-find fuel options, such as 92 octane and DEF.
Buc-ee’s was founded in 1982 and operate 36 stores in Texas and Alabama, including the New Braunfels location – the largest convenience store in the world, according to Buc-ee’s.
