Buc-ee’s opens its largest travel center
The popular Texas brand now has a network of 50 huge travel centers in the United States.
Buc-ee’s will open its newest travel center in Luling, Texas on Monday, their biggest store in the United States.
The new Buc-ee’s Luling will be the largest Buc-ee’s location in the country, covering over 75,000 square feet. This new store will replace the existing Buc-ee’s in Luling, which was the first family travel center built by the brand in 2003. The center will offer 120 fueling positions and a wide range of snacks, meals, and drinks for travelers. Popular items such as Texas barbeque, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky, and fresh pastries will be available.
Following the opening of the Luling location, Buc-ee’s will have 50 stores across Texas and the South. Since its multi-state expansion began in 2019, Buc-ee’s has opened travel centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, and Colorado. The company also began construction on its first locations in Virginia and Mississippi earlier this year.
“We are thrilled to open the doors to the world’s largest Buc-ee’s travel center right here in the Great State of Texas. It’s particularly exciting, considering this is the Buc-ee’s that started it all, so we are really looking forward to celebrating with the incredible people of Luling,” said Stan Beard, Buc-ee’s Director of Real Estate and Development.
Founded in 1982, Buc-ee’s now has 35 stores across Texas, including the world’s largest convenience store, as well as 14 locations in other states.
