Canada: HTEC to add a new hydrogen fueling station in Quebec
The station for light-duty vehicles is scheduled to be operational by Q2 of 2022. It is the second purchase order that Nel receives from HTEC.
Canada’s Hydrogen Technology & Energy Corporation (HTEC) is adding a new hydrogen fuelling station in Quebec that will serve light-duty fuel cell electric vehicles. The station is scheduled to be operational by Q2 of 2022, according to a company’s press release.
Nel Hydrogen Fueling, a subsidiary of Nel ASA, is the supplier of the new hydrogen fueling station, the second purchase order for a H2 station that Nel receives from HTEC.
The project will build on the existing collaboration between HTEC and Nel by expanding the HTEC network of hydrogen fueling stations in Canada and Quebec, says Patric Ouellette, VP Infrastructure for HTEC.
HTEC designs, builds and operates hydrogen fuel supply solutions to support the deployment of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles in Canada.
