Cepsa wins first purchase of fuels by Organization of Consumers and Users
Spain’s said in a statement issued May 27 that it will supply the first pooled purchase of fuels organized by the Organization of Consumers and Users.
“The initiative will allow the more than 200,000 users who have signed up so far to access discounts on fuels for one year,” the company said.
Cepsa's proposal offers users discounts of up to eight cents per litre off diesel or petrol, a further six cents when refuelling at Cepsa service stations, and two additional cents when refuelling at their regular service station. These discounts will be loaded onto a virtual 'Porque Tu Vuelves' card in the form of discount points. The discount card is free to obtain, Cepsa said.
The Company also won the contract to supply a similar initiative in Portugal, which is being implemented successfully.
Cepsa has a large network of service stations –1,500 service points in Spain.
