Champion Xpress Carwash enters Des Moines market with new acquisition
The brand has purchased a Foam Carwash Express location and expanded its sites throughout Iowa with plans to open a total of three car washes.
Champion Xpress Carwash has entered the Des Moines metro market with the acquisition of Foam Carwash Express in Urbandale, Iowa. The purchase of this single express tunnel wash location continues the strategic growth of the company into the central market of the state.
“We have been impressed with the values that Foam Carwash Express hold and look forward to continuing to serve the Urbandale community with the highest standard they have come to expect. The acquisition is critical to our strategic plan to expand and grow in the Iowa market,” said Michael Murry, CEO of Champion Xpress Carwash.
Foam Carwash Express has built up a following with thousands of plan members and high customer satisfaction. Like Foam, Champion Xpress is a family-owned and operated business that puts customers first and Urbandale is the third of several planned locations coming across Iowa. The site will be integrated into the Champion brand and will implement changes over the coming months as part of the transition.
“We’re thrilled to be working with the leadership of Champion Xpress. They have the same values and will provide our team members with even more career opportunities and personal growth. We look forward to seeing Champion Xpress serve our customers and the community with the same level of exceptional customer service,” added David Miller, President of Foam Carwash Express.
Champion Xpress Carwash is a family-owned and operated automated tunnel car wash company located across New Mexico, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, and Utah. The brand currently operates a total network of 18 car wash sites, and is aiming to expand its footprint over 50 by 2023.
