Cheetah Clean acquires two former Zips locations in Kentucky
Rebranded sites in Bowling Green and Owensboro to reopen by late summer 2025.
Cheetah Clean Auto Wash has announced the acquisition of two former Zips Car Wash locations in Bowling Green and Owensboro, further strengthening its position in western and southern Kentucky.
The move brings the company’s total number of branded locations to 16 across Kentucky and Tennessee, with more openings planned in the near future. Newly acquired sites will undergo complete rebranding and modernization before reopening in late summer 2025.
Both locations will be equipped with Cheetah Clean’s signature offerings, including its Unlimited Wash Club membership, seven-day-a-week access, and advanced eco-friendly technology.
“These acquisitions represent a pivotal moment in our expansion strategy to become the dominant car wash brand within the Commonwealth of Kentucky,” said Jeff Fields, CEO of Cheetah Clean Auto Wash. “We’re focused on scaling up where we can bring our high standards for service, sustainability, and community engagement to even more customers.”
Cheetah Clean’s rapid expansion reinforces its reputation as one of the region’s fastest-growing premium car wash chains. In addition to these new locations, the company is preparing to launch sites in Gallatin and Downtown Nashville, Tennessee, marking further growth beyond the Kentucky state line.
