Clarck Brands to open more stations in Puerto Rico

Since moving into the retailing market last year the company has already opened 14 sites.

Clark Brands and Puerto Rican distributor Bita’s Fuel Corp. have announced a $25 million investment as part of its Puerto Rico expansion plan.

More gas stations will be opened by independent retailers by the end of the year, announced Héctor Giervolini, Clark brand marketing manager. Since November the company has opened 14 new stations.

As part of the company’s strategy to achieve a greater impact on the Puerto Rican market, Bita’s Fuel and Clark gas stations have developed an innovative support program for retailers, reports Caribbean Business.

“Today’s announcement validates once again the commitment that Gasolineras Clark and Bita’s Fuel have with Puerto Rico, even more now, given the scenario of uncertainty that the political situation of the country has generated for investors,” said Gierlovini.

Clark only began operating stations in Puerto Rico last year.
