The retailer will deploy a solution from intelligent audio startup Qsic across its Shell service station network to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
Coles Express has signed a multi-year partnership with intelligent audio startup Qsic to deploy its retail audio offer across the company’s Shell service station network.
The brand, now operated by Viva Energy Australia, has become the first to roll out an AI-led retail media channel in Australia. With this partnership, Coles expects to deliver targeted media to customers in favor of enhancing their experience at its stores and drive sales throughout all 710 of them.
“Using cutting-edge AI technology, our retail audio offering delivers targeted media that enhances the customer experience and drives sales, solidifying our position as a leader in the field,” said Qsic in a LinkedIn post.
According to a report by local news site Convenience World Magazine, Qsic was launched in 2014 as one of the world’s first commercial music streaming services. The firm helps businesses in establishing and own their brand sound as well as setting up, run and commercialize their audio platforms.
Coles Express will leverage all of the company’s smart technologies, including automation, demand sensing, advertising optimisation, and in-store engagement and attribution.
