The fuel quality control started to be carried out from the beginning of 2019 by an independent accredited laboratory of Unipetrol. At each Benzina dispenser the customers can now find a golden LAB GUARANTEE label.

Benzina uses a two-tier control system. Each delivery of fuel to their filling stations is subject to a laboratory control before dispatch at the fuel manufacturer, which is Unipetrol. Directly at filling stations, a random inspection of quality is carried out.

“From the new year, collection and testing of fuel samples is carried out by an independent accredited laboratory of Unipetrol. This solution will bring us greater flexibility and efficiency in the implementation and evaluation of controls," said Director of Benzina Chain of Filling Stations, Marek Zouvala.

Unipetrol laboratory has a workplace in Litvínov and Kralupy nad Vltavou and is independent and impartial in accordance with the Czech standard. In addition to the chemical and physical-chemical testing and analyses of crude oil, fuels and other products of firms from the Unipetrol group, it also provides commercial testing and analyses to other Czech and foreign entities. The laboratory has been accredited in 2006 and is authorised to carry out 53 different accredited tests. It has more than ninety percent success in international comparative tests in Europe.
