DUCSA unveiled 360 Smart, Uruguay’s first fully autonomous convenience store, marking a new step in the company’s innovation strategy. The new format, located at the ANCAP Car One station, allows customers to enter, choose products and complete payment directly from their mobile phones, without interacting with checkout systems.

Located at ANCAP Car One, 360 Smart allows customers to enter, select products and pay directly from their mobile phones without using checkout systems. The format aims to deliver a faster, simpler and fully digital shopping experience as consumer habits evolve across the country.

This launch forms part of DUCSA’s broader transformation of its ANCAP 360 network, which now includes more than 60 stores nationwide. In recent years, the company has introduced several digital self‑service concepts, such as 360 Self at Carrasco Airport and Pizza Go 360 at ANCAP Trouville, both operated through vending technologies and fully reliant on electronic payments.

The automated unit at Carrasco Airport served as an early pilot to test unattended commerce models before moving toward a more advanced autonomous retail format like the one now installed at Car One. By incorporating these technologies, DUCSA continues positioning ANCAP stations as increasingly complete service hubs that integrate mobility, convenience and next‑generation retail solutions.
