EG America expands online ordering with Vroom Delivery partnership
500 stores across 23 states now offer delivery through DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.
EG America has partnered with Vroom Delivery to bring online ordering and delivery capabilities to its convenience store network, significantly expanding its digital reach. The initiative, already live at 500 locations, allows customers to order from popular third-party platforms such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub, with more store rollouts planned.
The collaboration streamlines the online ordering process by using Vroom’s Automated Menu Management (AMM) system. This technology automatically generates each store’s menu based on in-store inventory, eliminating the need for manual updates. In addition, Vroom’s integration with DoorDash’s Retail API enables customers to search for specific items within the DoorDash app, making the entire experience faster and more intuitive.
“We’re laser focused on providing our guests with the convenience to shop our stores where, when, and how they prefer,” said Whitney Johnson, Senior Vice President of Marketing at EG America.
“Through our partnership with Vroom Delivery, we were able to rapidly expand our delivery options and streamline back-office operations at the same time," she adds.
Orders are processed directly through EG America’s back-office system via Vroom’s integration with PDI’s Commerce API. This ensures pricing accuracy and allows store staff to immediately pick and bag items for fulfillment upon receiving an order.
All of EG America’s store brands are participating in the launch. These include Cumberland Farms, Certified Oil, Fastrac, Kwik Shop, Loaf N’ Jug, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Sprint Food Stores, Tom Thumb, and Turkey Hill. The service is now available in 23 states across the country, reflecting EG America’s commitment to offering digital convenience alongside its in-store experience.
