EG America integrates vehicle-based payments across 1,400 fueling locations
New partnership with Car IQ expands digital payment capabilities for commercial fleets.
EG America has introduced vehicle-initiated payments across more than 1,400 fueling locations in the U.S., including Cumberland Farms and nine additional convenience store brands. The integration allows commercial fleets to make secure, cardless payments directly from their vehicles, eliminating the need for fuel cards or manual input.
The collaboration with Car IQ marks a major step in EG America’s digital transformation strategy, enhancing efficiency and security for its growing base of commercial fleet customers. Through the company’s technology, fleet vehicles can now authenticate and complete transactions automatically, reducing fraud, simplifying accounting, and accelerating the fueling process.
“Car IQ partnership marks a pivotal evolution in how fleets interact with EG America and manage their fueling needs,” said Dave Masuret, Chief Fuels Officer at EG America. “This technology is truly vehicle-native — delivering cardless, telematics-verified fuel payments that cut fraud, speed checkout, and centralize spend control today, with a path to extend into maintenance, parking, and EV charging for fleet commerce next.”
With the new system in place, EG America continues to expand its role as a technology-driven retailer, offering smarter, faster, and more secure fueling experiences for fleet operators nationwide.
