EG On The Move grows footprint in Newcastle
New site features fuel, food, coffee, and upcoming EV charging facilities.
EG Group has announced the opening of a new service station at Cobalt Business Park in Newcastle, designed to provide round-the-clock convenience for drivers in the region.
The site includes multiple fuel pump islands offering standard and Hyperform unleaded as well as diesel. To complement fueling services, the location features a Starbucks Drive Thru, allowing customers to grab coffee on the go, and an in-store Delice de France La Bakery, serving fresh food and baked goods.
In a move to support the growing demand for electric vehicles, EG On The Move announced that the site will be equipped with eight new electric vehicle (EV) chargers on September 26th. The addition will give motorists more flexibility and choice when stopping at the station, aligning with broader efforts to expand charging infrastructure across the UK.
The Cobalt Park launch reflects EG’s continued investment in multi-fuel and multi-service locations, combining traditional fueling with food, beverage, and e-mobility options to meet evolving customer needs.
