Express Wash Concepts opens ninth Clean Express in Detroit
The New Livonia location expands the company's regional footprint to 121 express car wash locations across six states.
Express Wash Concepts (EWC) has opened its ninth Clean Express Auto Wash in the Detroit metro area, located in Livonia.
The new location marks a continued expansion strategy for the company, which now operates 121 express car wash sites across key markets. These include Detroit, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton, and Hampton Roads.
EWC plans to open or break ground on more than 25 additional locations by the end of 2025, including four more sites in the Detroit area.
To mark the Livonia opening, the site is offering free signature “Ceramic 4 Ultra” washes as well as promotional pricing for new members of its Wash Smart Unlimited Club. For each new membership during the launch period, the company will donate $10 to CARES, a local nonprofit supporting individuals and families facing financial hardship.
The expansion aligns with EWC’s broader strategy to scale its express tunnel wash model across the Midwest and East Coast.
Express Wash Concepts operates under five regional brands and continues to emphasize expansion through a standardized model featuring automated express service, free vacuums, and a monthly subscription-based membership program.
