ExtraMile expands digital savings via new alcohol cashback program

Convenience chain adds Swiftly’s rebate technology to its mobile apps and rewards system.

ExtraMile Convenience Stores is rolling out a new digital alcohol cashback program across its network, integrating Swiftly’s rebate technology into the ExtraMile, Chevron and Texaco mobile apps. The initiative introduces seamless, app‑based savings on beer, wine and spirits for rewards members shopping at more than 1,100 ExtraMile locations across the United States.

The move comes as convenience retailers increasingly turn to digital incentives to boost loyalty and trip frequency. Industry data shows that alcohol shoppers respond strongly to promotions, with discounts playing a major role in influencing purchase decisions.

Swiftly’s Alcohol Cashback replaces traditional mail‑in rebates with a fully digital process that allows customers to activate offers within the app at checkout and receive reimbursement through PayPal, Venmo or a prepaid Visa. The program is funded by suppliers, while Swiftly manages compliance and validation across participating states.

Rob Falciani, Director of Marketing at ExtraMile Convenience Stores, said: “ExtraMile is committed to delivering meaningful value and convenience to every customer who visits ExtraMile stores… This collaboration supports our focus on offering a differentiated, highly rewarding convenience experience.”

The rollout strengthens ExtraMile’s broader digital strategy as the chain continues expanding capabilities within ExtraMile Rewards and modernizing its platform across more than a thousand franchised stores.
