Fieten Olie, OQ Value to acquire fuel transporter Slump On
Strategic partnership aims to strengthen market position while maintaining continuity for customers.
Fieten Olie and OQ Value have announced a strategic collaboration and their intention to jointly acquire Slump On, marking a significant step in consolidating expertise within a rapidly evolving energy market.
Under the plan, Slump On will join the partnership with its established regional network, customer-focused approach, and operational experience. Fieten Olie will continue to focus on its fuel station network, while OQ Value will concentrate on business-to-business trade.
This clear division of roles is designed to create greater focus and efficiency for future growth. The proposed transaction is subject to approval by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) and other stakeholders.
Slump On will gain new shareholders but remain operational in its current form, ensuring stability for customers and suppliers. “With confidence, I hand over Slump On to Fieten Olie and OQ Value,” said Laurens Slump, CEO of Slump On. “I am proud of what we have built together and know our customers and employees are in good hands.”
Richard Fieten, CEO of Fieten Olie, commented: “By joining forces, we create more focus and can give Slump On a strong position within our shared future.” Gerard Jansen Holleboom, CEO of OQ Value, added: “Slump On brings valuable knowledge and regional strength. Together we can reinforce our position in both retail and B2B.”
Slump On will continue operating from its current location with the same contacts and services while the partnership is finalized. The combined expertise and infrastructure of the three companies aim to provide a solid foundation for growth, innovation, and sustainability.
