Fieten Olie reaches 50th station in the Netherlands
The retailer has been expanding its reach throughout the country recently and has reached a new milestone thanks to the recent acquisition of a site previously operated by De Birkt.
Fieten Olie has expanded its fuel retail network in the Netherlands after acquiring a new site to operate, marking its fiftieth service station. The new installation was previously operated by De Birkt and has now been handed over after the new owner’s Director, Richard Fieten, signed the documents to officialize the transfer.
The installation will go under a rebranding process for the next few weeks to be repainted with the colours of its new brand. At this unmanned location, customers will be able to refuel 24 hours a day with Euro 95, Super 98 and diesel. AdBlue is scheduled to be added to the assortment in the near future.
"It means a lot to our company, but also to me personally. We once started with one filling station and now we have a network of fifty stations in the Netherlands", said Feiten according to a report by local news site TankPro.
Payment options at the station include pin, cash, Fieten Olie Tankpas, MultiTankcard and Travel Card. The company has expanded its footprint across the country for quite some time now, with more openings planned for the rest of the year and a special announcement saved for when it reaches its 55th forecourt shortly.
"I can already report that numbers 51, 52 and 53 will also be opened in the coming weeks. In addition, we also have six new locations to build, where we are in the process of finalising the permit and will therefore start building soon. We have decided to put on a big promotion at number 55 to celebrate it in a big way!," added the company representative.
