France: Primagaz opens its first LNG filling station in Alsace
The opening of the Niederhergheim location is part of Primagaz’s plan to roll out six new LNG stations in the country by the end of 2020.
Primagaz opened its first LNG filling station in France’s Alsace region, reports Gaz-Mobilité. The new site in the Upper Rhine is operated in collaboration with Avia, as with the rest of Primagaz’s network of filling stations.
Located in Niederhergheim and accessible in both directions from the A35, the station offers two LNG distributors and two CNG distributors in four refueling tracks.
The opening of the Niederhergheim filling station is part of Primagaz’s plan to roll out six new LNG sites in France by the end of this year.
In addition to its first Alsatian station, Primagaz will open a new LNG station in Fontenay-le-Comte, in the Vendée, in the next few days.
Primagaz’s rate of deployment of CNG stations has accelerated during the lockdown enforced amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
