Gasum closes acquisitions and accelerates growth in the Nordics
The acquisition of Linde AG’s LNG and biogas business as well as Nauticor’s Marine Bunkering includes 48 gas refuelling stations in Sweden and Norway.
The Nordic energy company Gasum has closed the acquisition of Linde AG’s LNG and Biogas business in Sweden and Norway, and Nauticor’s Marine Bunkering business in Germany. The acquisition is an integral part of Gasum’s strategy execution to accelerate growth for gas solutions for transport and industry across the Nordics.
With this transaction, Gasum will further develop the Nordic gas market and the offering to its customers in the maritime, industry and road transport segments, as well as for cleaner transport solutions in the Nordic heavy-duty vehicle market.
The businesses acquired generate annual revenues of more than EUR 100 million. Several assets were transferred to Gasum, including 48 gas filling stations in Sweden and Norway, LNG terminals in Sweden and in Norway, the bunkering vessel Seagas and the bunkering vessel Kairos.
