Germany: HOYER expands hydrogen supply for service stations
The company has implemented a new automated, prediction-based management and supply logistics service for its clients.
The HOYER Group has consolidated its supply service of hydrogen and specialised gas logistics for service stations. The company has expanded its solutions for providing clean alternative fuels to the European service station network.
The Group aims to meet the demands of equipment and supplies that station-owners of Europe are currently facing in the transformation of their businesses. This not only requires equipping and reassessing their forecourts but implementing new safety requirements as well as management tools for the different energies.
“We can now provide service station network owners with our management services both for fossil fuels and also for alternative fuels. We undertake prognostic planning and full implementation for both product types, all from a single source, and of course with product-specific expertise,” said Richard Thompson, Commercial Director for Gas & Petroleum Logistics of the HOYER Group.
By combining its know-how in handling gases with experience in digital, system-supported supplies to service stations, HOYER now also offers automated, prediction-based product inventory management and supply logistics for hydrogen as well.
For its customers in Europe, the HOYER Group transports both hydrogen compressed under high pressure and cryogenically liquefied hydrogen. The use of special equipment and trained personnel is a necessity to ensure safe, reliable logistics.
