Hand-protection dispensers offered free to forecourts to battle pandemic
With the free giveaway in the first two weeks of February, GripHero hopes to help forecourt owners and networks fight COVID 19.
GripHero is offering hand-protection and on-the-nozzle dispensers free to forecourts across the globe. The announcement comes as more transmissible variants of Covid-19 have emerged, highlighting the need for the public to be protected from the transmission of coronavirus at high-touch point locations.
With the free giveaway in the first two weeks of February GripHero hopes to help forecourt owners and networks put an end to the potential transmission of Covid at the fuel pump, whilst also protecting customers from chemical and biological contamination, fuel contamination and the transmission of other illnesses.
“Health and emergency services around the world are contending with new mutations and strains of Covid. Stopping the spread of the virus is now a number one priority if we are to prevent hospitals from becoming overwhelmed by Covid-19 cases,” said Oli Yeo, Founder, Inventor and Managing Director of GripHero.
Less than a year ago GripHero made its dispensers free at the start of the pandemic for a limited period.
Research shows the fuel pump nozzles are 11,000 times dirtier than the typical toilet seat, according to Busbud.
