Hoyer takes over Zieglmeier’s fuel retail business
The company has sold its network consisting of 12 service stations in Bavaria to focus on other ventures such as tank trading and car washes.
Bavarian company Zieglmeier has decided to transfer its petrol station business to Wilhelm Hoyer. The transaction, coming into effect in December 1, will help consolidate Hoyer’s fuel retail business in Bavaria.
The Zieglmeier team will refocus entirely on tank trading, tank rental and car washes.
As a fourth-generation family business with almost 100 years of experience and a range of products, Hoyer sees itself in a position to continue supplying local customers with the right products quickly and reliably in the future.
"Hoyer is already represented nationwide with its own stations in many regions. The aim is to expand this network throughout Germany. The takeover of the twelve stations in the middle of Bavaria is another important step in this direction," explained Markus Hoyer, Managing Partner of Hoyer and responsible for the company’s petrol stations.
Hoyer operates 250 of its own stations throughout Germany and offers its own full-service fuel card. This can be accepted throughout the network and also used for cashless refueling at over 3,800 locations throughout Europe.
