H&S Energy extends retail footprint with 20 new acquisitions
The company has purchased 10 Extra Mile convenience stores as well as 10 food marts to bring its total store count to over 160 points of sale.
H&S Energy has confirmed the acquisition of a 20-station portfolio and expanded its footprint across California. The new sites include 10 Extra Mile convenience stores and 10 food marts to be rebranded to the company’s c-store brand pm Power Market.
In addition, the transaction has extended the firm’s fuel partnerships as it included one Shell-branded service station. The forecourt is set to be operated by Hassan & Sons, an affiliate of H&S.
“This industry is built on relationships and as a longtime friend of the principals involved in this privately held portfolio, we are grateful and honored for the opportunity to have their locations become part of the H&S Energy family network,” said Sal Hassan, President and CEO of H&S Energy, in a press release published by news site CStore Decisions.
In less than a year, the company has grown its network by over 40% and continues its expansion aiming to double its store count by 2025. With this deal, the brand has extended its location count up to 160 retail outlets. Hassan stated that with this latest transaction, the company has extended its footprint in the Southern California region, with new stores in San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles, as well as in the Central Coast.
