The court in Assen has declared Resato Hydrogen Technology bankrupt20, ending a suspension of payments that began in July. The Dutch company, which develops and builds hydrogen refueling stations for buses, trucks and cars, said it had not been able to finalise all necessary agreements with creditors and investors within the available timeframe, despite progress with customers, ongoing projects and potential investors.

Resato said the bankruptcy marks “the beginning of a new phase”. It will continue to explore restart options with the bankruptcy trustees, aiming to preserve its activities, keep its relationships with customers and partners, and continue ongoing projects where possible. Interested investors can register for the sales process.

The company’s portfolio includes four refueling solutions: the Full Sized Station, Tube Trailer Filling Station, Fleet Owner Station and Ultra-High Capacity Station. Resato says it has delivered around 80 public and private hydrogen refueling stations in Europe, supplying both 350 and 700 bar.
