Hyundai introduces HTWO Hydrogen Platform in Japan

Group showcases full hydrogen value‑chain technologies at H2&FC EXPO 2026.

Hyundai Motor Group has presented its dedicated hydrogen brand and business platform, HTWO, in Japan for the first time at H2&FC EXPO 2026. The debut highlights the company’s strategy to demonstrate how hydrogen technology can support a broad range of mobility and industrial applications. The all‑new Japan‑spec NEXO, Hyundai’s flagship fuel‑cell electric vehicle, is also on display at the event.

HTWO serves as the Group’s integrated hydrogen platform, bringing together its capabilities across production, storage, distribution and utilization. Designed as an open collaboration environment, HTWO aims to accelerate the transition toward a wider hydrogen ecosystem in Japan and globally.

Throughout the exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight, Hyundai is outlining technologies that illustrate the potential of hydrogen across mobility and infrastructure. Visitors can view the redesigned NEXO and participate in test‑drive sessions showcasing improvements in performance, efficiency and cabin design.

The company is also presenting a range of hydrogen solutions developed by Hyundai affiliates, including refueling concepts, fuel‑cell systems for buses and trucks, applications for trams and burners, and automated hydrogen‑charging technology. These demonstrations reflect the Group’s long‑term investment in fuel‑cell research and engineering.
