Ipiranga has opened the first Texaco-branded service station in the state of São Paulo, continuing the expansion of the fuel brand's network in Brazil.

Located in Valinhos, in the Campinas metropolitan region, the site was developed through a partnership with Rede Vem, the exclusive Texaco reseller in the area. The station is expected to serve motorists traveling within the city and along routes connecting neighboring municipalities.

The new location offers Texaco fuels featuring Techron, the brand's fuel additive technology, and also includes a Star Lube facility dedicated to oil change services.

According to Ipiranga, the opening forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen Texaco's visibility in key regional markets through collaborations with local fuel retailers. The company holds the license for the brand’s fuels in Brazil and is responsible for marketing products under the brand, including fuels containing Techron technology.

Texaco returned to Brazil's fuel retail market in 2024 with the opening of its first station in Palhoça, Santa Catarina. Brazil also became the first country in Latin America to offer ethanol fuel incorporating Techron technology.

The new station further extends Texaco's growing footprint in Brazil as Ipiranga continues to reposition the brand in selected markets across the country.
