Italy: Two new gas refuelling stations launched in Rome
Developed by Snam4Mobility in collaboration with Goldengas and Enerpetroli, the stations strengthen the supply of natural gas in the Lazio region.
Snam4Mobility, in collaboration with fuel distribution operators Goldengas and Enerpetroli, launched two new natural gas refuelling stations for cars and trucks in Rome. The two locations strengthen the supply of this alternative fuel in the Lazio region and in the area of the capital particularly.
The refuelling station in via di Torre Spaccata, managed by Goldengas, is the fifth in Lazio to supply LNG for heavy vehicles, and is already equipped to supply Bio-LNG.
The distributor in via di Tor Cervara, managed by Enerpetroli, is the eightieth in the region to supply CNG. The site is the second of nine provided for by an agreement between the two companies, with new stations to be launched in the Umbria region.
Snam4Mobility, a company wholly owned by Snam, develops CNG and Bio-CNG distribution infrastructure for cars, and liquefied natural gas for heavy transport throughout Italy. Snam’s 2020-2024 strategic plan envisages the construction of 150 new natural gas and biomethane refuelling stations and the launch of the first five hydrogen refuelling stations.
