JET enters fuel card business in Austria
Customers of UTA Edenred can now use their UTA Card to make purchases at the chain’s locations across the country.
JET Tankstellen Austria and UTA Edenred have entered a new partnership to include the brand’s service stations across the mobility service provider’s network. Now, Edenred has expanded their services from 1,640 stations to 1,800 across the Alpine Republic.
At any JET location, customers can now use their UTA Card to purchase car accessories, lubricants and vehicle washes in addition to diesel and gasoline. In addition, any customer that has the car wash pass can benefit from a free eighth car wash.
"Thanks to the cooperation with UTA Edenred, we are now entering the fuel card business and not only tapping into new customer segments, but also generating additional volume and sales at our existing locations," said Gerhard Entholzer, Manager Fleetcard at JET Tankstellen Austria.
UTA Edenred’s acceptance network across Europe now includes over 79,000 acceptance points throughout 40 countries thanks to this new partnership. In addition to fueling stations, UTA customers also have access to a charging network consisting of over 415,000 charging points.
JET Tankstellen Austria GmbH is part of Phillips66 and currently operates 160 service stations in Austria. The brand is the only fuel retailer in the country that allows fuel purchases to be processed both in the store and directly at the pump.
