Love’s expands Texas network and upgrades stores in six states

The travel stop operator has opened a new location in Premont, Texas, while completing store modernization projects across six states as part of its ongoing network investment strategy.

Love’s Travel Stops has expanded its presence in Texas with the opening of a new travel stop in Premont, while also completing renovation projects at stores in Georgia, Illinois, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

The new Premont location becomes Love’s 84th site in the state. Designed to serve professional drivers, RV travelers and motorists, the facility adds 59 truck parking spaces, contributing to efforts to address truck parking shortages across the country. According to the company, Love’s has added 1,135 truck parking spaces nationwide so far in 2026.

Located between the retailer’s Three Rivers and Edinburg locations, the site strengthens fuel and parking capacity along a major freight corridor. The store also includes five diesel bays, showers, laundry facilities, self-checkout options, RV amenities and a Godfather’s Pizza restaurant.

As part of its ongoing alternative energy strategy, the site has been built with space allocated for future electric vehicle charging infrastructure, allowing the company to work with local utilities on charger installation if customer demand emerges.

Alongside the Texas opening, Love’s has completed remodels at locations in Waco, Georgia; Lordsburg, New Mexico; Greenville, Illinois; Conneaut, Ohio; Walters, Oklahoma; and Baxter, Tennessee. The upgrades were carried out under the company’s Road Ahead Plan, which focuses on modernizing stores and improving customer flow and shopping experiences.
