Love’s celebrates two new openings in Pennsylvania and Illinois
The travel stop brand has expanded its footprint across the United States with two locations both occupying more than 12,000 square feet each.
Love’s Travel Stops celebrated the opening of two new locations with only one week of difference between each other. Last Thursday, the firm inaugurated a new site in Brookville, Pennsylvania, which added 130 truck parking spaces and 55 jobs to Jefferson County; while on July 14 opened a new forecourt in Monroe Center, Illinois, which added 70 truck parking spaces and 55 jobs to Ogle County.
Both locations are open 24/7 and offer customers many amenities, including fuel and convenient solutions alongside the company’s typical services like laundry facilities, CAT scale, dog parks and Mobile to Go Zones. With these new openings, the brand consolidates its presence in Illinois with its 32nd location while also advancing on Pennsylvania territory, marking its seventh opening.
“Love’s is continuing to open new locations to provide customers with clean and safe places to stop, making summer travels more convenient,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s.
The newly opened facilities cover more than 12,000 square feet and its food offer includes Wendy’s (Pennsylvania), Subway’s and Godfather’s Pizza (Illinois) restaurants, in addition to its bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, brand-name snacks and Fresh Kitchen concept.
The Pennsylvania location is equipped with 130 and 79 truck and car parking spaces respectively, in addition to its seven RV parking spaces. It also offers drivers nine diesel bays and seven showers as well as a Speedco location for check-ups services. Its new Illinois Travel Stop includes 70 and 64 truck and car parking spaces respectively as well as four RV parking spaces, seven diesel bays and six showers.
In honour of the grand openings, Love’s will donate $2,000 split between the Pine Creek Fire Department and the Jefferson County 4-H Club in Pennsylvania while also donating the same amount to Stillman Valley High School in Illinois.
