Love’s opens first travel stop in Connecticut
The service station and truck care centre operator has inaugurated a new facility to its 590-plus network that adds 56 truck parking spaces and 50 jobs.
Love’s Travel Stops has expanded the reach of its services by opening a new location in Willington, Connecticut, the company’s first in the state. The site adds 56 truck parking spaces and 50 jobs to Tolland County, offering local customers fuel, convenience and truck care services.
“Opening our first location in Connecticut reaffirms Love’s commitment to providing quality products and services that are easy to access for customers across the U.S. Love’s will continue to add new locations, ensuring that travellers have a safe, clean and well-maintained place to stop when they see the Heart of the Highway,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s.
The location is open 24/7 and offers the brand’s typical amenities, such as seven diesel bays, three showers, CAT scale, Mobile to Go Zone with the latest GPS and a dog park. The 8,000 square feet installation has Godfather’s Pizza and Subway restaurants integrated and other food offerings like bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, brand-name snacks and a fresh Kitchen concept.
In honour of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,000 to Willington Public Schools.
