Love’s Travel Stops to deploy robotic smoothie kiosks

The service station and truck stop brand has signed a new partnership with Jamba by Blendid to offer its fresh products to customers of the retailer.

Love’s Travel Stops has signed a new partnership to deploy autonomous smoothie kiosks at certain locations to expand its offer to customers. The retailer has allied with Jamba by Blendid to include its offer in its service station network, with the first one set to open this summer in Williams, California.

Jamba by Blendid kiosks benefits from Blendid’s contactless food automation platform foodOS, to serve clients with Jamba’s menu of varied smoothies. Drivers will be able to refresh themselves thanks to this new offering while on the road to their destinations and benefiting from an automated service.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer our guests a new way to enjoy delicious food on the go. Jamba by Blendid will give customers another option to get refreshing food at select locations in California,” said Joe Cotton, Vice President of Food Services at Love’s Travel Stops.

With more than 590 locations in 41 states, Love's Travel Stops provides drivers and motorists with 24-hour access to clean and safe places to purchase gasoline, diesel fuel, compressed natural gas, travel items, electronics, snacks, restaurant offerings and more from coast to coast.

“Jamba is thrilled to be expanding Jamba by Blendid kiosks into the travel stop industry with Love’s. Making Jamba inspired smoothies readily available in this new vertical allows us to meet our guests seeking freshly made, wholesome smoothies even when they are on the road,” added Geoff Henry, President at Jamba.

More details on locations and kiosk offerings will be made available as plans are finalised.
