Mexico: Futura 100 to expand fuel station network in Jalisco with Valero
The company will sign a contract to operate a total of 6 locations under the Valero brand in Jalisco, where it currently has 19 fuel stations.
Futura 100, a group dedicated to the sale, supply, marketing and distribution of hydrocarbons in Mexico, will expand its fuel station network in the state of Jalisco in collaboration with Valero Mexico, according to national media reports.
Futura 100 now has 19 sites in Jalisco, following the recent inauguration of a new location in Guadalajara.
The company expects to add three more Valero stations in the short term and, in the coming months, will sign a contract to operate a total of six fuel stations under the Valero brand in Jalisco.
"Valero is looking for long-term strategic alliances with partners such as Futura 100, a well-established group with extensive experience in the sector. Together we will achieve the supply of quality gasoline for Jalisco and specifically the metropolitan area, while contributing to the economic and energy development of the state," said Carlos J. García, general director of Valero Mexico.
Valero Mexico currently has a network of more than 80 fuel stations across 10 states in central and western Mexico. In Jalisco, the company operates a total of 37 sites.
