Milence opens first Danish e-truck charging hub in Padborg
New site strengthens key Nordic–European freight corridor with high-power charging infrastructure.
Milence has opened its first public charging hub in Denmark, located in Padborg near the German border, marking a strategic step in expanding electric freight infrastructure across Europe. The site sits on a major logistics gateway and supports long-haul electric truck operations along the Scandinavian–Mediterranean TEN-T corridor.
The Padborg hub is Milence’s 37th operational site and its first in Denmark, advancing the joint venture’s goal of building a continent-wide charging network dedicated to heavy-duty transport. The location provides a critical charging point for freight routes connecting the Nordic region with Central Europe.
In its initial phase, the hub is equipped with four CCS chargers delivering up to 400 kW across four charging bays, along with basic driver facilities. Future expansion plans include additional amenities and capacity enhancements to improve service levels for drivers and fleet operators.

The project is part of a broader effort by Milence to deploy high-power charging solutions, including megawatt charging systems, across its network. These technologies are designed to support the operational requirements of heavy-duty electric vehicles, particularly for long-distance transport.
