MOL Romania to build 6 motorway service stations

MOL Romania has announced plans for the construction of six service stations on motorways in the European country.
The stations are part of a wider tender MOL won to build up to 14 sites along Romanian motorways.
The energy company estimates an approximate investment of €2 million for each of the stations to be built, with a total project budget of around €28 million. The estimated opening date is the second half of 2022.
Preparations for the construction works have already started on the Ilia, Vințu de Jos and Murfatlar sites.
The newly-built stations will offer refuelling services, fast HDV pumps, EV chargers, Fresh Corner restaurants, and special parking spaces for truck drivers and caravan users.
MOL Romania is a subsidiary of MOL Group and one of the most important oil companies in Romania, with a 25-year presence on the domestic market. The company currently owns 245 service stations, 2 fuel depots in Giurgiu and Tileagd and an LPG terminal in Tileagd.
