Morocco: Vivo Energy to amp up its fast food services via joint venture
The company will create MFG Vivo Holding alongside Multi Food Group to diversify its offering in its operated service stations.
Vivo Energy Morocco has announced the creation of a joint venture with Multi Food Group to develop MFG Vivo Holding, a new fast food service for its stations. The company seeks to open several restaurants in its network of Shell branded forecourts to answer a growing consumer demand for restaurant offerings.
"We are pleased to announce the creation of this joint venture with our partner MFG. This collaboration with a recognized local player in the field of restaurant franchises is perfectly in line with our development and growth strategy in Morocco. Vivo Energy Morocco remains firmly committed to its national footprint and enhanced customer experience," said George Roberts, General Manager of Vivo Energy Morocco.
"We are delighted with this partnership with Vivo Energy Morocco. The visibility and the extent of the Shell network will bring a real added value to the development of our franchises. Our project is also a powerful vector of employability and localized growth since the deployment of new restaurants will allow for the continuous creation of jobs as well as the implementation of a complete professional training system for our employees,” commented Taoufik Bensouda, President of the Multi Food Group.
“By combining our expertise and knowledge of the market, we hope to meet the expectations of our fellow citizens in a sustainable and relevant manner,” added Bensouda. The new franchise offering is aimed at all audiencies and its locations will be inaugurated in the Shell network in the near future.
Vivo Energy Morocco aims to expand beyond stations as well, with plans to establish restaurants throughout the Kingdom’s major cities. The firm has been multiplying its partnerships with renowned fast-food brands in the last years, integrating international franchises to amp up its diversification strategy in the country.
