Morrisons extends Deliveroo partnership to 500 c-stores

After launching their collaboration in 2020, the supermarket chain is expanding the delivery service to 500 Morrisons Daily locations across the UK.

Morrisons is extending its partnership with Deliveroo so that customers can order groceries from 500 Morrisons Daily convenience stores.

Convenience remains an important and strongly growing channel for the chain and its c-stores are located at fuel forecourts and other convenient and busy locations around the country. Their offer includes a core convenience range, fresh food to go and selected elements of the brand’s Market Street fresh food.

Both companies have been collaborating since the height of the Covid pandemic in April 2020 and the service is already available at approximately 390 supermarkets.

“Our partnership with Deliveroo has gone from strength to strength since we first started working together in 2020.  Customers tell us how important rapid delivery services are to them and so we’re delighted to be extending the Deliveroo service and making it available from 500 of our Morrisons Daily stores,” said Joseph Sutton, Convenience, Online & Wholesale Director for Morrisons.

In September 2021, Deliveroo also launched its first delivery-only grocery store ‘Deliveroo Hop’ in partnership with the supermarket chain. Currently, Morrisons has close to 1,600 Morrisons Daily convenience stores across the UK of which around 600 are franchise stores.
