Oxxo opens 600th Andatti Gourmet coffee bar in Mexico
Milestone location in Puebla highlights growing demand for customized coffee offerings.
Oxxo has opened the 600th Andatti Gourmet coffee bar in its network, marking a milestone for the convenience retailer’s coffee business. The new location is situated at the Oxxo Los Fuertes store in Puebla, a state the company identifies as an important market for the development of its premium coffee offering.
The Andatti Gourmet concept expands on Oxxo’s traditional coffee program by offering a broader range of made-to-order beverages, including hot and cold drinks, coffee and non-coffee options, milkshakes and frozen-based beverages. Customers can also customize their drinks through a variety of ingredients and flavor combinations.
According to Oxxo, Puebla was selected for the landmark opening due to growing consumer interest in differentiated products, innovative flavors and more specialized foodservice experiences while maintaining the convenience and accessibility associated with the retailer’s stores.
Commenting on the milestone, Ximena Reynoard, Foodvenience Director at Oxxo Mexico, said: “We have a clear mission: to bring a high-quality coffee experience to more people.” She added that the company aims to combine quality, innovation and personalization while expanding access to a coffee experience that is “Proudly made in Mexico.”
The expansion comes as coffee continues to gain importance within Oxxo’s broader convenience retail strategy. The company said it currently sells an average of 30 coffees per store per day across all formats nationwide, making Andatti one of the most widely available coffee brands in Mexico.
