Oxxo, Puntored grow financial services network in Colombia
The partnership has grown from 30 to 650 stores, processing 1.14 million transactions worth nearly COP 156.3 billion ($38,1 millions) since January 2025 through real-time financial integrations.
Oxxo and Puntored have expanded their financial services partnership to 650 convenience stores across Colombia, significantly increasing access to banking and payment services through the retailer's nationwide footprint.
The network, which spans 10 departments and 39 municipalities, has processed more than 1.14 million transactions valued at nearly COP 156.3 billion ($38,1 millions) since January 2025. The initiative began with approximately 30 stores and has since evolved into a larger financial services channel serving millions of customers.
Through the partnership, consumers can perform deposits, withdrawals, top-ups and bill payments at Oxxo locations. The stores collectively receive more than 12 million visits each month, providing financial institutions with access to a broad customer base.
The platform connects services from 14 financial providers, including banks and digital wallets. Customers can already make deposits and withdrawals through institutions such as Nequi, DaviPlata, Davivienda, BBVA and Banco Falabella, while Nequi users can also complete account top-ups at participating locations.
Looking ahead, Puntored plans to extend the integration with Oxxo to 700 stores by 2027 and exceed two million annual transactions while adding new companies and service categories to its platform.
